Fevers & Getting High

No this is not a tactical nuclear weapon.

This is the antibiotic I was forced to eat recently when I was ill. (Technically speaking I am still ill as I am still spouting a fever of 100F sporadically)

When I was really ill, i.e. when I periodically got fever over 103F, I used to really have these weird thoughts. Thoughts which escaped my imagination when I was not feverish. My imagination stopped being confined by the chains my mind puts on it. Sometimes even imagining and feeling physically impossible things, like floating in the air. You think on a different plane of thought than normal, your mind gaining a single minded focus and clarity of thought.

It was in this unique position I found myself having this unique thought.

"Is this how a man who is 'high' feels?"

And so was the cat killed. But still curiosity raged on in the hearts of men.

Now since I am a novice as in regards to the experience of getting high. I thought that I would finally put the knowledge gained in my MBA to do something productive. How? By conducting a qualitative market research to find out the similarities between the effects of having a very high fever and being very high (on alcohol, drugs etc etc, take your pick)

Please read the following qualifying conditions very carefully:

1. You must have gotten very high fever atleast one time in your life, and you must remember the experience atleast partially. (High fever means atleast a fever of 102F, and may involve hallucinations)
2. You must have gotten high atleast one time in your life, and you must remember the experience atleast partially.(Being high means being unable to remember what you did that night atleast partially)

Be ready to have your brain picked apart. I will try to keep it simple and short.

I am afraid I cannot reveal the details about the research now, as it may bias the participants viewpoint. But rest assured that it will be legend…wait for it….dary.

Rest assured that identity of any of participants will be kept confidential & secure. If you want the names of people who have trusted me with non disclosure of their names, so as to feel more secure about this thing, just ask me. The list with their names will be mailed to you along with their other details.


PS: I just noticed but why the hell we call research “re”search. We are not searching for something which is already discovered. Why not call it “newsearch”.
